Meat/fish/eggs and vegetables are ok. Kefir and plain yogurt ok. Some fruit/berries ok.Emir Shabashvilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08298550057243875310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435730617416567165.post-80654452039369205782017-07-11T20:43:08.315-04:002017-07-11T20:43:08.315-04:00I am 14 and am looking forward to trying this. I like how they seem to dry faster and way flatter than Kodak films. Also they have longer dev times which somehow is an advantger in the summer / hot weather as at 24 C the Kodak dev times may bee to short, while a longer time allows better consistency of development between multiple batches. In your test it is hard to see a lot of difference between the 2 film. Scanning / post editing may impact the look more than the film itself.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16453606276591402677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435730617416567165.post-85661376530056851132016-09-13T21:37:17.567-04:002016-09-13T21:37:17.567-04:00yes, the plus is faster and it could scan higher r...yes, the plus is faster and it could scan higher res with regular software. I tested 16 bit scanning and it worked but I scan at 8bit -- I have Nikon V if and when I need a tad better quality. For TLX, I also use some scripts I found in FB group dedicated to the scanner.<br />Emir Shabashvilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08298550057243875310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435730617416567165.post-27434763247259133072016-09-07T19:35:52.342-04:002016-09-07T19:35:52.342-04:00Thanks, Emir. My friend in the Ukraine Ihor Chykalo sent me a can of this in a parcel trade of goodies. I bought some svema films and russian cameras from him and we also trade other goodies. He is fond of american hot sauces and peanut butter--he was in heaven with huge jars of Skippy from Costco & had his first taste of Sriracha sauce & Chipotle peppers (grin). I had very good results with your film in HC110 Dilution B (1:31) with 1% benzo to tame the fog 7.5 minutes at room temp (about 78F here in Tucson Az). It's grainy, yes but no signs of fungus on the roll I received so far. I actually have both, and used the M2 with a wide (15mm) lens at f/22 and shutter stuck at 1/2 second and hand actuated flash to act as the actual shutter. I got the F5 to do things the 'right' way, with its sophisticated metering and good autofocus. I'm drying my first rolls of HP5+ with it right now, so I sat down to google the camera and came across your blog. Cool stuff, could you elaborate why you would like the M2 or F5 over one or the other?superclifhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16974404218924525416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8435730617416567165.post-43567603353749863762015-10-06T21:22:41.034-04:002015-10-06T21:22:41.034-04:00Seen him at Outer Drive and Southfield freeway tod...Seen him at Outer Drive and Southfield freeway today in Allen Park, Michigan, just minutes from Detroit!
