This had been taken with Kiev 4AM + 35mm Jupiter f/2.8 lens -- one of the few the soviet era setups I have. Came to like this cruel piece of machinery after some trial and error.

Miami Camera Show 2012

I have been there again. Since I am in love with old cameras, I liked it. The parking was no problem, and the floor was not very crowded. Annual Miami Camera Show 2012 is coming!

Miami Camera show. Strange place, big room full of dusty cameras and half-crazy camera freaks (just like me:-). If you like old cameras, you are going to love it. You can take photographs there, its ok, you can also bring you camera to trade (not very profitable) or buy something (usually ridiculously overpriced).

Still walking Little Havana with Kiev-4am, this taken inside the little open store on Calle Ocho.

Conjunction

This is again taken taken with Kiev-4am. Wonderful camera in the need of better 50mm lens and an external viewfinder.

Behind the glass

This photo had been taken with old soviet Kiev 4am camera from 80s. The model is based on wartime Contax; it is heavy balky beast; I liked it a lot. The lens, 53mm f/1.8 Helios 103, is sharp but very flare-prone. The rangefinder, while somewhat awkward in use, is precise. I think it has one of the widest bases among all the 35mm rangefinders. All in all, I glad I brought this piece of aluminium, iron and glass from Russia where I bought it for 650 rubles AKA $20:)
