I switched few things last week: went to TMax developer from Diafine for Tri-X and stopped pushing the film; I tried again little Olympus XA which had been sitting on the shelf for the last 2 years. So far I like both changes. What killed my interest in XA last time was Ilford HP5+ at E.I.800; it was not very good combo. Tri-X @ E.I.400 is much better.

M in Little Havana
this had been taken at Calle Ocho last Wednesday; I saw the visual rhyme (actually more than one; 4 elements echo each other); pointed and clicked my Olympus P&S...

Wednesday in Little Havana
This had been taken with Kiev 4AM + 35mm Jupiter f/2.8 lens -- one of the few the soviet era setups I have. Came to like this cruel piece of machinery after some trial and error.

Another night at Little Havana
Last Friday of every month there is an event at Calle Ocho in Little Havana named Viernes Culturales ("Cultural Fridays"). The site is down at the moment but the event is going on; it is relatively easy to find street parking and a lot of small venues to enjoy, a lot of subjects to photograph. Here is few more frames from the roll I shoot last Friday:

One day in February...
The last batch of street B/W shots right out of my darkroom. These are Olympus Stylus Epic P&S camera and some from Bessa L/25mm. All shot in February/late January on Tri-X and developed in Diafine, my favorite soup. Enjoy:)

Night at Calle Ocho
I keep returning to Calle Ocho. True, it is limited to the couple of streets and not very crowded. It is boring at times. But, its also one of the few places in Miami where there is a real street life. So here it is again, Little Havana, taken on Tri-X with my Bessa R3M rangefinder/35mm lens and developed in 2xDiafine to E.I.=3200.
